PALLIATIVE CARE EDUCATION & ADVOCACY
Support the elaboration and implementation of palliative care development projects in targeted regions, where palliative care is underdeveloped. Educational support will continue on several levels and include offline activities, such as internships, bedside training, workshops and publishing projects. Advocacy may include fostering public awareness, engaging local authorities and palliative care champions to choose the optimal palliative care model and elaborate a road map for its development.
BUILDING BRIDGES & COLLABORATION
Strengthening ties within the international palliative care community. Creating an environment for exchange and collaboration between palliative care representatives from regions with developing systems and experts, including granting participation and travel subsidies, or holding PACED’s themed events – workshops, strategic sessions.
PALLIATIVE CARE KNOWLEDGE-HUB
Provide access to expert knowledge on palliative care to professionals and other audiences. Accumulate up-to-date knowledge on palliative care. Structure the collected material in formats optimal for research and training. Constantly monitor for updates. Implement publishing of selected material for specific regional purposes.
